And now for the first release candidate of the production release of CARA! Many minor (only one major) things have been implemented since the last release.
- All Windows: there can now be any attributes stored with an object. There is a new registry for attribute definitions in the main window. Use it to specify, which attributes belong to the built in objects. All over the program you find menu entries of the form "Edit Attributes..." which open an object editor showing the attributes of the selected object.
- All Windows: the entries of label and spectrum menus have now alphabethical sort order.
- Main Window, Spectrum List: new menu entry "Write Calibration" which exports the dimension offset values to the param file and sets them to zero internally. This is useful since some consumers of CARA output cannot handle explicit ppm offsets of spectra. This feature is only supported for XEASY spectrum formats up to now.
- ReportViewer?: there can now only one ReportViewer? window be open at a time, and the parameter settings are conserved between the print commands. In future versions it will be possible to explicitly store parameter settings to the CARA file. In the current version the parameters are set to default values whenever CARA restarts.
- Known Bug: please note, that the display of folded regions has a position error of up to 1.5 times the sample width (delta) in the current version. I will fix this as soon as possible.
