CARA Templates page
This the download page for official CARA templates. These are empty repositories that set up the ResidueType and SpectrumType libraries and provide a set of useful LUA scripts. It is recommended to download the most recent template when starting new projects to take advantage of improvements and bugfixes. If you find any problems with these repositories, please report them to the CDT so that they can be fixed in the next template release. Thanks!
Template Repositories:
- ProteinLiquidState1.9v1.cara Released Mar. 05, 2018 (Last Update: Mar. 05 2018) (Version 1)
- Template for assignment of 1H, 15N, and 13C/15N-labeled proteins using liquid state NMR spectra with CARA 1.9 and upwards from F. Damberger. This template is compatible with BMRB nomenclature. The BMRB statistics are uploaded from bmrb on March, 1, 2018. It is based upon the template Start1.3v9.cara. Compared to this previous template, BMRB chemical shift statistics were updated (Mar. 1 2018), Glu and Asp hydroxyl H atom shifts were added making their statistics available and facilitating their assignment when possible. Many new SpectrumTypes were added, allowing projected versions of 3D experiments to be loaded. Nearly all the included LUA scripts were updated.
- NucleicAcids1.2.cara Released Oct. 01 2013 (Last Update: Oct. 01 2013) (Version 2)
- Template for assignment of 1H, 15N, and 13C/15N-labelled nucleic acids (RNA and DNA) with CARA 1.8.4 and upwards from F.Damberger. This template is compatible with BMRB nomenclature and is a preliminary version. Feedback and improvements are welcome. It is possible to merge the ResidueTypes in this repository with those of the updated Repository for assignment of proteins. After opening the protein repository with CARA, use the menu function
Import ResidueTypes
and select this respository to import the NucleicAcid ResidueTypes
- Template for assignment of 1H, 15N, and 13C/15N-labelled nucleic acids (RNA and DNA) with CARA 1.8.4 and upwards from F.Damberger. This template is compatible with BMRB nomenclature and is a preliminary version. Feedback and improvements are welcome. It is possible to merge the ResidueTypes in this repository with those of the updated Repository for assignment of proteins. After opening the protein repository with CARA, use the menu function
- ProteinSolidState1.0v3.cara Released Oct. 01 2013 (Last Update: Oct. 01 2013) (Version 3)
- Template for assignment of 1H, 15N, and 13C/15N-proteins using solidstate NMR spectra with CARA 1.8.4 and upwards from F.Damberger, A.Siemer & S.Hiller. This template is compatible with BMRB nomenclature and is a preliminary version. It includes a set of SpectrumTypes intended for assignment using solid state spectra. Feedback and improvements are welcome. It is possible to merge the ResidueTypes in this repository with those of the updated Repository for assignment of nucleic acids. After opening the solid state protein repository with CARA, use the menu function
Import ResidueTypes
and select the nucleic acids repository to import the NucleicAcid ResidueTypes. You can also import the SpectrumType definitions from this solid-state repository into a standard protein solution NMR repository using a similar method. It is based on the previous template NucleicAcid1.1v1.cara. The BBresidue ResidueType was modified as described for ProteinLiquidState1.3v9.cara above.
