What are all these Scopes ?

 You can open a spectrum which you have read into a project by right-clicking on the spectrum and then selecting an appropriate Scope. Each scope has been designed with a particular task in mind and allows you to efficiently complete that task.

 * MonoScope is the basic tool to display a single spectrum, display XEASY peaklists on a spectrum, manipulate peaks and integrate the peak volumes. It can open 2D,3D,4D,higherD spectra.

 * SliceScope is CARA's tool for 1D-spectra. It can also manipulate slices saved from multidimensional spectra

 * SynchroScope synchronizes two dimensions from 3D spectra with a corresponding 2D and is used for peak-picking 3D spectra.

 * StripScope is CARA's tool for heteronuclear backbone assignment and sequence mapping. It can display strips from 3D spectra and link then together and map fragments onto the sequence.

 * SystemScope is CARA's sidechain assignment tool. With this Scope you can start from a backbone signal and look for correlations to sidechain signals by inspecting orthogonal slices of 3D spectra. It allows the user to connect all spins in the spinsystem through a stepwise process.

 * HomoScope is CARA's tool for homonuclear 2D assignment. It can also be used to work with heteronuclear 2D spectra. It can also superimpose contours from several spectra in different colors.

 * PolyScope synchronizes two dimensions of a 2D with a corresponding 3D and can be used for peak-picking and to complete assignments (like SynchroScope). It also has a number of features to work with NOESY spectra during structure refinement.
